The Squash AUTOM and Squash DEVOPS 2022-04 release is available.
This release is a maintenance release adding some small features to the Squash orchestrator:
"opentf-ctl" is using much less memory when displaying workflow information (e.g. when using "opentf-ctl workflow --wait" or "opentf-ctl get workflow").
"opentf-agent --version" can now be used to get the version of the agent.
A warning is now displayed when launching the agent if the specified encoding is UTF8 (or if no encoding is specified, as this is the default) while the execution environment is not set with this encoding.
Additionally, a few bugs have been fixed.
As a reminder, new versions of Squash AUTOM and DEVOPS are delivered monthly (except in August).
The 2022-05 version will add the notion of resource namespaces and the possibility to limit their visibility and their usage: for example, when an orchestrator is shared by several teams, it will be possible to reserve some environments to some teams.
That version will also, both for Squash AUTOM and Squash DEVOPS, transfer the logs of the test execution into Squash TM. This will facilitate troubleshooting errors in test runs.
