The Squash AUTOM and Squash DEVOPS 2023-03 delivery is available.
This is a maintenance release improving existing features.
These enhancements are mostly on the Orchestrator side:
Management of self-signed certificates has been simplified. Additionally, a FAQ has been written to help configuring such certificates.
The Orchestrator Tools (opentf-ctl) have been enhanced to list the available namespaces and to run a workflow in a given namespace.
They can now be used to get the versions of the components of the Orchestrator image.
Some people reported that if was tedious to type the options of opentf-ctl, so we introduced short versions (one character long) of the commonly used options, for example "-c" can de used in place of "--max-command-depth ".
Logs are still further improved: this delivery provides better logs for execution environments accessed via ssh.
On the side of the support of test technologies, the support of special characters in Robot Framework test names has been completed. The squash-tf-services library has been rewritten, this corrects a problem with the retrieval of Squash TM’s custom fields or datasets containing a percent ("%") character.
As a reminder, new versions of Squash AUTOM and DEVOPS are delivered monthly (except in August).
2023-04 delivery will support dynamic loading of hook and pool configurations, and some improvements in JUnit support.
Every AUTOM/DEVOPS delivery contains several components having each one its own version numbers. You can view them in the Release Notes by version.
