How to install Squash TM on RedHat/CentOS 7

The Squash TM application is delivered in different packages:

  • a Windows installer (.jar) that allows a quick installation for demonstration purposes,

  • a universal package compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux (.zip or .tar.gz),

  • a Docker image

In version 1.X of Squash TM a Debian package (.deb) and Redhat (.rpm) were available but they are now deprecated. A procedure indicates how to switch to tarball (tar.gz).
